Dear Band Directors,
It is my pleasure to invite you and your band to participate in Northern Arizona University's Band Day. Due to the high number of entries from Arizona and surrounding states, we will be limiting the number of participating groups to 40. Given the overwhelming success of the 2007 NAU Band Day, we urge you to submit your application as soon as possible.
The 40 available time slots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. No times will be reserved until payment has been received (check, money-order, purchase order number or copy of purchase order requisition number). Entries exceeding the cap will be placed on a waiting list, according to postmark date. Notification of your group's acceptance or placement on the waiting list will be sent after receipt of application and payment. For groups that have paid but are on the waiting list, payment will not be processed until the group's position in the festival has been secured.
Bands will be assigned classification based on their ABODA assignment. All applications must be postmarked no later than October 1, 2008. In the past, the festival has been full far ahead of this date, so it is to your advantage to submit your application and payment early. The entry fee for this year's festival is $300.00. This fee can be eliminated through the sale of advertisements or "Shout Outs" to be included in the 2008 Band Day Program.
Applications are being accepted immediately. To secure a position in the festival, your entry fee (or purchase order number / purchase order requisition number) must accompany your application. It is strongly suggested that you submit your entry as soon as possible.

- October 1st - Deadline for Application (postmarked).
- Deadline for Announcement/Program Information
- November 1st - NAU Band Day 2008.
