Marching Band Camp Pre-Registration

Thinking about guard?

• Joining the NAU Color Guard is a great way to meet a lot of people and become active on campus
• Guard is a wonderful opportunity to show support for NAU and our football team
• The NAU Color Guard enables you to gain valuable teamwork experience
• The guard travels throughout Arizona with the NAU band and performs at an Arizona Cardinal's football game

Experience Requirements

• Even though guard experience is preferable, we don't require it! The NAU Color Guard is looking for individuals of all experience levels.
• The only real requirements are: high energy, intensity, optimism, great attitudes, and belonging (you want to be here)!

Class Requirements

Being a part of the NAU Color Guard Requires you to enroll in two classes. These classes are held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 11:30-12:20 and 12:40-2:40. The two classes are: MUP 354 section 1 and MUP 354 section 2. Each class is worth 1 credit. To view these classes and your schedule, click here, this is a direct link to Louie login page.

Band Camp

Each member is also required to attend a week long band camp during the week of August 21-26, 2007. Housing can be provided if needed. For more information, please review the Marchng Band Camp webpage. Also do not forget to submit your pre-registration application for Band Camp 2007.

Uniform Requirements (personal responsibility)

• Part of your uniform will be provided by NAU & TBS. Any other accessories will be your responsibility.
• You are responsible for purchasing the following items:
• Shoes (Propel Dance Sneaker by Bloch, found at Discount Dance Supply)
• Socks/Tights (black)
• Undergarments
• Gloves (cg paw, found at Ictus Limited, must be black)
• Pants (purchased through NAU during Marching Band Camp 2007)
• You are also responsible for purchasing your rehearsal uniform. This will include:
• Nonrestrictive athletic bottoms (pants, shorts, etc...) NO Denim!
• Nonrestrictive athletic tops, must be Black (you will be provided with one black NAU band T-shirt)
• Proper shoes (Propel Dance Sneakers)

Auxiliary Camp

• Color Guard, Drum Majors, & Twirlers
